^{► Claude has just gotten back out into the world after being locked away for who knows how long. He struggles to talk to others and cannot approach others on his own. He's prideful, so he'll stand his ground, but once he believes he's the one who messed up, he becomes nervous and looks for a way out. If someone manages to get him comfortable with them, he begins joking around and even casually flirting. It definitely takes a certain type to get there, though. He doesn't have many hobbies and gets bored quickly. He's completely clueless in just about everything. He depends on others to explain things to him and show him what things are like, but that isn't easy with all the questioning.}

^{► Like many others, Claude spent a considerable amount of time in a multi-level facility. The facility consists of three, or maybe even four levels. Levels are based on severity of tests. Unlike Ray, who spent a short amount of time in level one, Claude was a nobody, making him easy to hold in the first place. Unlike Ray, he recalls just about everything from his time there. Ray was already considered an important character among the Tibumeru, it would've been a problem if it became noticed, so Ray's time was while he was totally knocked out. Totally painless and no real lasting effects besides a tattoo and a tracker. Claude stayed in level two, while it wasn't super painful thanks to his traits, he still has lasting physical defects. Scars and clipped fins from endurance tests. The clipping worked. While it doesn't stop him from swimming entirely, it makes him clumsy and much slower than he's supposed to be. There was a rule, you behave, you get out. So he did. He can't talk about his time and keeps the fear that he might be caught again. He hopes to become important enough to stay safe. Claude understands they were completely serious. Another prisoner was Leighton who actually fought back. He ended up in one of the lowest levels. Claude goes about his daily life simply avoiding thinking too much about it. Like Ray, he's stuck with the bar code and the collar.}
